What visitors say

Peter Swann

Lovely little chilled site with half a dozen hard standing pitches. Fresh water and toilet drop point. £20 a night paid via the honest box. No toilets or showers. EHU available paid for separately via an app. Recycling bins on site. The building work around the site is almost finished and there was almost no noise. 10 mins walk to the Minster, 20 mins to the town centre and 40mins to the racecourse

We stayed 2 nights. Perfect location for visiting the lovely town of Beverley. Nice walks in the area too, with plenty of footpaths. New housing estate around the site but no building noise at all. 10 mins walk to the minster and another 5 to town centre shops, pubs, cafes etc. Site has fresh water, emptying points and bins. All pitches looked level and on gravel. Need own onboard facilities though. Think we counted 7 pitches. It’s £20 per night via honesty box plus metered electric via app which is 34p kWh if I remember correctly. You top up £5 at a time, we had heating on low most of the night as its was cold, plus kettle etc next day and cost over £5 😳, so if you are electric hungry you might want to consider a proper campsite with all services for a little more.

Great location. Easy access. Water, waste and electric all available. Pay by honesty box so don't see anyone.

This is a small Camping and Caravan Club CL site and is wonderful has all you need Waste and fresh water. Plus really close to the town which is lovely. Lots to see and do with great safe cycle routes all around. We got lost and end up at the Pipe and Glass pub Michelin star but fantastic. Even just for a great pint. make sure you access by the Long Lane road otherwise you can't enter.
