Church Court Cottage
East Riding of Yorkshire
View on Google MapsChurch Court Cottage is a terraced cottage in Beeford village, where the fish and chip shop is practically on the doorstep and a village shop sits 200 yards away. The property sleeps five across two bedrooms: one with a kingsize bed, the other with a cabin single and bunk beds, making it practical for families with young children. A single bathroom serves the household. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; heating comes from a multi-fuel burner in the living room, with initial logs provided.
Downstairs is a living and dining room with a 42-inch TV, DVD player and Amazon Firestick. The kitchen has a cooker, microwave, washing machine and fridge. A rear courtyard provides an enclosed outdoor space with seating and a barbecue. The pub is 165 yards away, and a Chinese restaurant 20 yards. Dogs stay free, and the enclosed garden means they have their own secure area. Cots, highchairs and stairgates are available on request. The cottage does not permit smoking.
Beeford works as a base for the Yorkshire coast: sandy beaches lie three miles off, and the traditional resorts of Hornsea, Bridlington and Filey are all within reach. Inland, the Wolds offer countryside walking, while Beverley's market square, York's medieval streets, The Deep aquarium in Hull and country houses like Sewerby Hall and Sledmere House are accessible for day trips. Bird reserves at Hornsea Mere and Bempton Cliffs appeal to those with binoculars.
