Farriers Lodge

Farriers Lodge works equally well for a family wanting space to spread out, couples after a rural escape, or groups of friends looking for a whole property to themselves. The conversion sits on a working stud farm in open countryside near Brandesburton, surrounded by fields and far enough from crowds, yet close enough to reach Hornsea, Bridlington and the Yorkshire Wolds within easy drives. One step leads into the ground floor, where an open-plan living area has a woodburning stove and direct access to the garden; the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with electric oven, hob, dishwasher and all the basics covered. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included.

Three bedrooms, each with its own ensuite, give everyone their own space. Two have showers; the third has a bath. All three beds are zip-and-link kingsize arrangements, so can be split into singles if needed. A private hot tub fits six. The courtyard has garden furniture, and parking for three cars is provided on site. One dog is welcome, though if you have horses, stabling and grazing are available too. Heating and initial logs for the stove are included. There is a step in the garden. No smoking.
