Ocean View - Ploughman’s Cottage

Ploughman's Cottage suits couples or small families after a base for coastal exploration. The property sleeps three across two bedrooms—a double and a single—with one bathroom on the ground floor, where everything is arranged open-plan: living space, dining area and kitchen flow together, and underfloor heating keeps things warm year-round. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and parking for two cars are all included; one well-behaved pet is welcome.

The kitchen is equipped to cook proper meals, with an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and all the usual appliances. The living area has a TV and DVD player for quieter evenings. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. Outside, a patio with garden furniture overlooks shared gardens on the site.

Flamborough Head and its chalk cliffs are within walking distance, home to one of England's largest seabird colonies at RSPB Bempton. The lighthouse itself offers summer tours. From here you can reach Selwick's Bay for beach walks and rock pools, or try Flamborough Head Golf Course just three-quarters of a mile away. A pub sits within a mile, and the village of Flamborough—with a reputation for piracy and smuggling in its past—holds various shops and cafés. The cottage is non-smoking throughout.
