Searchlight Cottage

Searchlight Cottage is a single-storey detached property on farmland near Bridlington, with a working cast-iron range still in place from its Second World War past. Inside, you have a living room with Freeview TV and DVD player, a kitchen/dining room with electric cooker and washing machine, one double bedroom, and a shower room. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with heating and electricity. The whole place is yours alone.

Outside, an enclosed lawned garden has a patio, sitting area and garden furniture, plus a portable barbecue. There is parking for two cars on site. One pet stays free. The location sits surrounded by open farmland with far-reaching views; the RSPB has recorded over 100 bird species in the area, and there is a pond for coarse fishing and a footpath towards the coast. Bridlington is 4 miles away, Bempton RSPB reserve and Flamborough Head beyond that. A shop, pub and restaurant are 2.5 miles off. The cottage does not allow smoking.
