The Poplars

The Poplars is a detached bungalow in Fraisthorpe, a small hamlet on the East Yorkshire coast. Everything you need for a self-catering break is provided: electricity, heating, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and fuel for the open fire. The welcome pack and enclosed garden with patio furniture are there too. You can park three cars on site and store bikes.

The main living space combines a sitting room with dining area, plus a separate sunroom for quieter moments. A well-stocked kitchen handles proper cooking. Three bedrooms sleep five: a kingsize, a double and a single. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and heated towel rail, with a separate toilet elsewhere. Two steps lead to the entrance and everything is on the ground floor. No smoking is permitted.

The beach is within walking distance, and the open countryside and horse paddocks that surround the property are part of the appeal. This suits families or small groups looking for a quiet coastal base, with straightforward facilities for everyday living rather than luxuries.
