Struncheon Hill Farm - Broad Leaf
East Riding of Yorkshire
Broad Leaf is one of several holiday cottages created from restored farm buildings at Struncheon Hill, a 150-acre complex surrounded by woodland and open countryside. The conversion has retained original materials and character while offering modern comfort across three storeys. Bedrooms number three: two doubles and a twin, with one double on the first floor benefiting from an ensuite with roll-top bath. The ground floor holds the second bathroom (shower room), kitchen, and living and dining space. Everything needed for self-catering is provided, including heating, electricity, bed linen and towels, plus wifi throughout.
The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking rather than holiday basics—there's an electric cooker, dishwasher and fridge-freezer alongside the usual microwave. Guests have sole use of an enclosed garden with decked patio and terrace. The wider farm grounds include a shared children's play area, bike storage and ample parking. A travel cot and highchair come as standard. Smoking is not permitted.
The farm sits four miles from Brandesburton village. Fishing, water sports and a diving school operate within half a mile; nearby there is golf, horse riding, clay pigeon shooting and an RSPB sanctuary. The seaside towns of Bridlington, Scarborough and Filey lie within easy reach, each with beaches and traditional resort amenities. A water feature exists 88 yards from the property.
