On a working arable farm just south of Driffield, The Egg Shed puts you within easy reach of the North Yorkshire coast. Bempton Cliffs, famous among birdwatchers, lies only two miles away, and the single-storey property opens directly onto fields and countryside views. The location suits anyone wanting a quiet base rather than proximity to a town centre.
The layout is straightforward: one large open-plan room combines the living and dining spaces, with the kitchen at one end and French doors leading to the garden. Three bedrooms (two doubles and one single) occupy the rest of the ground floor. There is one shower room and a separate toilet. The essentials are included: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi. You have your own parking for three cars and a back garden with furniture.
The kitchen is equipped to cook proper meals, with an electric cooker, induction hob and microwave; there is also a washing machine and tumble dryer. The property does not welcome children under 16, and smoking is not permitted. The garden has a step, as does the entrance.

Have been getting my eggs from here for a while now,but today was our first time on a Saturday. So was curious to see about the meat section. Oh boy what have we been missing, just had the loveliest steaks we have ever had. Forget Waggu, this is us from now on. Excellent.

Love a nice drive out to visit the egg shed. James and Gemma are so lovely and the quality and taste of their produce is great. I love to see their videos on Facebook and how sweet they are with their animals, it makes all the difference when you know the animals are raised with love and care.

Veg, Roasts, Brunch, Supper Puds, Brekkies and Drinkies! Fabulous Farm Shop for Carnivores; and Veggies (like me). Great weekend shop for Milks, Meats, Pasties and Pudds. The Egg Shed is open all week. Accessibility: Small car park near to The Egg Shed (each day) and the Courtyard (Saturdays). Egg Shed (each day): Eggs, Vegetables, Jams, Chutneys, Sauces, Biscuits etc Courtyard (Saturdays): Meats, Pies, Milk... Lovely people
