The Farmstead

The Farmstead is a single-bedroom pod situated on a working farm in the Yorkshire Wolds. It's a modern structure, fully insulated with underfloor heating, designed for year-round use. The building sleeps five: two double beds and a single bunk in the bedroom, with a living area that doubles as sleeping space. One bathroom with shower is included. Electricity, bed linen and towels come with your stay.

Inside, there's a kitchenette with a ceramic hob, microwave, kettle and toaster, plus a fridge, coffee maker and basic crockery and utensils—enough to prepare simple meals and hot drinks. The living room has a sofa, an extendable dining table, a smart TV and Bluetooth speaker; wi-fi is available. A seating area outside with a brazier overlooks the surrounding fields. One parking space is provided; additional vehicles need prior agreement with the site owners. The property does not allow smoking or pets.

This location suits walkers and cyclists exploring the Wolds, with numerous routes on the doorstep. A pub lies within a mile. The coast at Bridlington and Filey is reachable for a day out, and York is roughly 20 minutes' drive away via the park and ride service. The setting is rural, and the property sits on an active farm, so agricultural machinery operates around the site.
