Chilled out, friendly and quiet campsite. We pitched next to a picturesque pond, and enjoyed feeding the ducks. Close to Stamford Bridge, where we had a lovely curry at the Bay of Bengal. Found a super, magical woodland walk through forgotten fairyland at 'Dreamery Gardens', just up the road. Lovely stay!

Booked through hoseasons after reading reviews. Holiday started with a phone call from Weir Park saying our caravan was ready early so could check on before 4. Arrived and shown to caravan quickly. It was exactly as described and had everything we needed. We found it to be very clean with a good layout. The site is split into 2, with static caravans in one area and tourers, tents in another. There seems to be a lot of residents who own caravans on site and look after their pitch. It is a peaceful and quiet site. We have a dog and there is a dog field on site. Recently we have only stopped in Lodges and they tended to be a bit remote. This is where this site wins by a mile. You walk into Stamford Bridge in 7 minutes and it as everything you need. Pub, Chinese, fantastic Indian, quality butchers and bakery. The co-op is also very well stocked. Within about 30mins by car you can get to some great dog walks. We enjoyed our 2 X week holiday so much we booked another week in October. Overall a great place.

I looked at the reviews for this park and I wasn't sure about going, anyway off we went we stayed in the apartment, just for info when you arrive you have to pay a £50 security deposit for breakages I'll let you know how long it takes to come back as we didn't break anything and cleaned before we left as everyone should. From the reviews I wasn't expecting much but.....the apartment was lovely and clean, very spacious they had even left us some coffee, tean sugar and milk with biscuits on a tray for arrival, we booked through Hoseason who haven't done it justice they have a TV in every bedroom, 2 which I 100% know are smart TV so you can log in to Neflix/prime etc plus free WiFi, washing up liquid, tea towels dishwasher tablet etc were already supplied ( I always take my own) and a hair dryer was left in each bed plus a selection of towels per person (I also take my own). It was a lovely tidy site with beautiful views the only thing I would advise if the owner do read this is that the suite in the room could do with changing and a new dining table with chairs as 2 of them weren't particularly study other than than a well enjoyed break Would highly recommend for people who like the quieter side of holidaying.
