Corner Cottage opens into a living room dominated by a wood burner and comfortable seating, with the kitchen beyond—a proper working space with a range cooker, dishwasher and wine cooler. From here, a door leads to the annexe, an entirely separate living area with its own wet room and a sofa bed that doubles the sleeping capacity. Upstairs, three bedrooms include a super king, a king with a pull-out single bed suitable for children, and space for a travel cot if needed. The main bathroom has both a freestanding bath and shower cubicle.
The garden is south-facing and fully enclosed, with a patio, barbecue and garden furniture. On-site parking is available, and one dog stays free. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included. The village sits on the River Waveney and is close enough to Southwold and the Norfolk coast for day trips, though there's a dog-friendly pub with an outdoor garden just a minute's walk away if you'd rather not cook. No smoking throughout.

We had such a wonderful weekend at the cottage with our kids and dogs. The cottage has everything you need just to literally put a bag in the car on a Friday and not worry. There's good local supermarkets and shops, and whilst the village is lovely and quiet (one pub) it's a great base for getting out and about (like the lovely coastal town of Southwold). In terms of the cottage, my daughter slept in the annex in the garden (close prox to the back door of main house) and two bedrooms in the house were great. One of the comfiest beds away from home I can remember. Would stay again. ps - amazing welcome pack.

Absolutely stunning little cottage in rural location, amazing welcome pack and all the gadgets and mod cons you’d love to have in your own home, Infact, our Amazon wish list has just grown massively since our stay with friends over the weekend ! Very clean, lovely size rooms, pet friendly , Rio says thank you for his welcome chews left for him. Garden has bbq and furniture but our winter visit meant we didn’t make use of them but loved the annex complete with wet room which is perfect for summer months. Sky Glass, Range Cooker, Roll Top Bath, coffee machine, hand held shark hover, Joseph Joseph gadgets and stunning fire in main room, and a welcome pack packed with info.. the list could go on .. great recommendation for an Indian takeaway and the local Black Swan Pub.. Thankyou for a perfect stay
