Westleton sits on the edge of Suffolk's most rewarding walking country, where heathland meets the coast. The village itself has a green, two pubs, a shop and a tea room; from here, the RSPB reserve at Minsmere and Dunwich Heath are within easy reach, as are the beaches and seafood restaurants of Dunwich and the larger towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh twenty minutes away.
Heath View Cottage is a semi-detached house sleeping five across three bedrooms: a double and two singles upstairs, with a separate toilet and shower room. Downstairs, the living room has an open fire, the kitchen is fitted for proper cooking, and there's a conservatory for quieter moments. An enclosed garden with patio and barbecue opens onto a summerhouse that doubles as a playroom. Electricity, heating, bed linen and wifi are included; there's parking for two or three cars.
The cottage suits families, friends travelling together, or anyone drawn to the area for birdwatching and coastal rambles. Nearby High Lodge offers clay shooting, archery and fishing; the Adventure Playground is also close by. No smoking indoors.
