Honey Cottage

Friston is a quiet village surrounded by open countryside, woodland and fields that roll toward the coast. Honey Cottage sits at the end of a row of 18th-century stone buildings, with a fully enclosed mature garden backing onto farmland—the kind of place where you genuinely hear birdsong. The village pub is a short walk away, and the beaches at Aldeburgh are four miles down the road.

Inside, the ground floor has a living room with a wood burner and Smart TV, a kitchen with a full range of appliances including a dishwasher, and a shower room. Narrow stairs lead to two bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with a three-quarter double and a single. The property sleeps four and comes with bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi. There's parking for two cars on site, and one dog stays free. No smoking.

The garden has a patio, furniture and a barbecue. Snape Maltings—galleries, independent shops and a concert hall in a converted maltworks—is two miles away. The RSPB reserve at Minsmere and a network of coastal and woodland walks are all within easy reach. Note that access to the first floor involves narrow, steep stairs.
