This converted dairy building retains the character of its 18th-century origins while serving as a comfortable base for a couple or small family. Two bedrooms—one with a king bed and ensuite, the other with two single beds—sit upstairs, while the ground floor opens into a single living space that combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas. The kitchen is equipped for full self-catering, and an electric woodburner adds warmth to the living room on cooler evenings.

Old Dairy sits within a working beef farm spread across 80 acres of grazing land near Halesworth. Your own private courtyard offers a quiet spot to sit out, and parking for two cars is on site. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included. The property is part of a cluster of converted barns that share use of a heated indoor swimming pool, open Easter to September. A games room with an indoor astro turf pitch is also available to guests. The location suits those wanting to explore the Suffolk countryside or reach the coast; a river runs through the wider grounds, fenced for safety.

This is a beautifully converted barn, equipped and furnished to the highest standard throughout. Janet and Mike have lovingly created a spacious yet cosy home that you will not want to leave at the end of your stay!

The barn was booked as a surprise for my 50th birthday and we had an amazing stay. The owners Jan & Mike are such lovely people who couldn't do enough to make our stay so special and memorable. The barn is spotlessly clean and contains everything for a relaxing home from home break. The kitchen is a beauty with all mod cons including a welcome dishwasher. The barn is tastefully filled with artwork and Mike's breathtaking sculptures. The outside space was great to as we enjoyed sitting outside enjoying a drink listening to the birds and wildlife during the evening. It's in a very quiet spot but close to the coast including Southwold. I can't recommend this barn highly enough, such a comfy bed! Book a break here - you won't regret it!!!!

Lovely barn. I've stayed in many holiday lets, but I've never come across one as well kitted out as this one, or with such a well laid out hand book. I'm so glad my sister found it, just sad we weren't there for longer! Thank you!

We have just enjoyed a wonderful week at the barn. It is a spacious and beautiful conversion which is extremely well-equipped with the best kitchen equipment we have ever had in a holiday rental. A nice touch is plenty of toys and books for children - also, the welcome pack of food essentials, wine and flowers. There are very good local walks in the village, as well as close proximity to the beaches and walks at Walberswick, Dunwich, Southwold and Minsmere. Thoroughly recommended.
