About The Angel Hotel
The Angel Hotel suits visitors after a straightforward base in the middle of Halesworth, whether that's a night breaking up a journey through Suffolk or a longer stay exploring the town itself. With just seven rooms, it runs more like a local inn than a large hotel, and each room comes with its own en-suite bathroom, drinks available on request and room service if you'd rather not head downstairs.
Guests have access to a restaurant and bar on site, along with breakfast each morning, free WiFi throughout, and 24 hour reception for those arriving late or leaving early. There's also a meeting room for anyone combining the stay with work, and free on-site parking, which is a genuine convenience given the town centre setting.
Halesworth itself is close by, with the East Anglia Transport Museum nearby for a change of pace, plus a golf course, pubs and further restaurants within easy reach. It's a practical choice for anyone wanting to stay in the heart of the town without needing a car for every meal or errand.
Guests mention this inn offers comfortable rooms with modern bathrooms and delicious food, including hearty breakfasts and Italian dishes like duck breast with cherry and port sauce. They also highlight the friendly and welcoming staff, who provide excellent guidance and service. Visitors appreciate the warm atmosphere and reasonable prices for both meals and drinks.
