The Nest

The Nest occupies its own ground-floor cottage on a working farm, overlooking fields where wildlife thrives and birdsong carries across the open landscape. You'll have the whole place to yourself, with private parking for two cars and an enclosed garden with a gas barbecue and seating area.

Inside, everything is on one level: a living room with a sofa bed and Freeview television, a compact but functional kitchen with a full oven and gas hob, a bedroom with a super kingsize bed and French doors onto the garden, and an ensuite wet room with a walk-in shower. The living room was originally a conservatory, so it's bright and airy; underfloor heating runs throughout, and essentials like electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included. One well-behaved pet stays free.

The cottage suits couples wanting countryside peace, or families with children who prefer a quieter base for exploring local walking routes and nature reserves. Games, books, maps and picnic equipment are already here. There's no smoking inside.
