About Sun Inn
A traditional pub building forms the heart of the Sun Inn, a small hotel on Derby Road in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire. Its character sits somewhere between village local and proper inn, with a bar and restaurant on site giving the place a lived-in, sociable feel rather than that of a corporate hotel.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and the option of drinks brought up to you, and the hotel runs a 24 hour reception so arrival times are flexible. Breakfast is served on site, and there's a garden with outdoor seating for warmer days, along with meeting rooms for those combining a stay with work. Free WiFi is available throughout, and free on-site parking makes it a straightforward stop for anyone travelling by car.
Eastwood's surroundings offer golf and fishing nearby, along with pubs, bars, restaurants and other eateries within easy reach, plus entertainment options for evenings out. It suits guests who want a simple, well-located base with the countryside close at hand.
