Retanna Holiday Park

Staying here currently in a touring van. Have been loving here fine for a month just over. This morning I challenged the fact I dont want to keep paying my rent in cash as im living here full time never s recipt given or any proof im living here with obviously I need. The worker said the owner will probably not let you stay if you dont want to pay cash!! Luckily I've been thinking of moving anyway there is 2 workers here for well over 200 properties woth one toilet block the showers look like prison showers its 4£ for every wash here and they all stink and never get cleaned oh and if you need to do washing on the weekend best stock up as no buggers here what so ever.. the owner has sent my parcel back once as she apparently didn't know I had moved on here and didn't recognise the name. Have been. Nothing but nice and respectfully around here even offered voluntary work as I can see they were struggling but right now ima happily let them try and kick me over the fact I've refused to keep paying cash ths n god for recording hopefully this goes to court just a heads up for permanent vaners im sure the odd day fine for cash but full season you wamt done proof and security x

Just returned from a three night stay at Retanna Holiday Park near Helston, Cornwall. My wife stayed here 12 years ago when she was pregnant with our son. It’s a lovely site that has quite a few permanent residential properties mixed with statics for hire. We stayed in the top field that is a nice big open space overlooking the lush surrounding landscape. We had electrical hook up and a great pitch with a slight slope. It was nice and clean with a shower and toilet block close by that was kept very clean. Taps in the toilets could do with replacing as they don’t stay on and you are constantly pressing them. Showers were powerful and very warm. The site staff were very accommodating and friendly. We had an issue on night with a noisey bunch of lads but it was dealt with immediately. It was a great break and the location is great if you are a lover of the very South part of Cornwall and areas like Mousehole, Porthleven, Mullion, Marazion and Penzance. We’ll be back for sure!

A lovely campsite with friendly and helpful staff. Toilets clean and showers lovely and warm. Great park for children to play in. The wifi was free and worked really well. Consequently, we were able to plan trips out each day and keep the children entertained in the evening. Close to many beautiful beaches and 15 minutes from Falmouth. Would visit again.

We stayed in their Bell Tents, it was clean and the holiday park supplied us with an electric heater, toaster, kettle and plates, cutlery etc. It also had a fridge which was handy esp when you have kids. Showers were nice and hot. Everything was clean. Hand gel at the park and outside toilets. Would definitely stay again. Owner has been lovely and helpful throughout us booking and staying. Thank you.
