Lakeshore touring and camping park inside Castle Archdale Country Park
About Castle Archdale Caravan Park & Camping
Castle Archdale Caravan Park & Camping spreads across a scenic pocket of Castle Archdale Country Park on Lower Lough Erne's shore near Lisnarick. The site occupies land that once served as a Second World War flying-boat base, and today its mature woodland, walking trails and marina lie just steps from the pitches. A ferry crossing to White Island's medieval carved stone figures departs from the park's own jetty, adding historic interest to a stay.
Facilities are thorough: free showers, electric hook-up, boat launch, wifi, launderette, shop, takeaway and the Pilots Nook bar and restaurant all feature on site, making longer stays comfortable. Touring caravans, motorhomes and tents are welcome, with glamping and heritage pods available for those without their own kit. The main season runs from St Patrick's weekend in March through to Halloween, with a winter aire de service for motorhomes from November to February.
The combination of country park surroundings, on-site dining and direct lough access suits families or anyone wanting activities without leaving the grounds—though the sheer range of facilities can make the park feel busier than more secluded lakeside spots.

What visitors say
This site is geared up for caravans and unless you pay for a super pitch there is no where to fill a onboard water tank nor empty a waste water tank. other than that it's well kept and staff and very friendly and helpful. alot of familys with easy access to the water altho it is a different company. onsite pizza waggon is good and generous ice-cream servings at the shop

We stayed over the May Bank Holiday as a family of four and had a fantastic experience. We rented one of the pod houses, which was immaculate—warm, clean, and very comfortable. Although compact, it had enough space for us, especially since the site itself is large with plenty to see and do. The entire site is exceptionally well maintained, with no sign of litter anywhere. Staff were visibly cleaning and keeping everything in great condition throughout our stay. The toilet facilities were the best we’ve come across at any campsite. There’s also a great range of amenities, including kids’ facilities, evening entertainment, a takeaway, bar, and shop—all conveniently located on site. Mobile signal was quite poor during our stay; however, the on-site WiFi was strong and reliable, with no issues at all. We were genuinely impressed with the overall experience—any recognition the site has received is thoroughly well deserved—and we will definitely be returning.
