About Willowbank House

Willowbank House is a family-run guesthouse on Belview Road near Lisbellaw, a few miles outside Enniskillen, with ground-floor bedrooms looking over the garden and surrounding countryside towards the lough. The scale is deliberately small, and the welcome is correspondingly personal, built around the kind of local knowledge that comes from a family who have run the house for years.

Breakfasts are the standout, built around Fermanagh black bacon, sausages and black pudding from a local butcher, with homemade jams and vegan and vegetarian options available on request. A guest lounge with television, free wifi and off-street parking cover the practical side, alongside cot and highchair provision for families and a laundry service for longer stays.

Its position puts Castle Coole, Forthill Park and Marble Arch Caves all within a short drive, and it suits visitors who prioritise a genuine home-from-home welcome and a proper cooked breakfast over hotel-style facilities.

Absolutely amazing stay, Aoife and Shaun couldn't do more to make you feel welcome. I stayed in the lodge with my two boys and it was just amazing you want for nothing. Still here and we wish we could stay another night, except its booked and not surprised its just more than you could expect. We even did the paddle boarding which was fantastic a great experience. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will be back.

Myself and my partner stayed here over the Easter holidays. What a fantastic place for a staycation - lovely views, fantastic hosts and a delicious breakfast! We had an issue where we couldn’t use the hot tub on the first night (due to previous guests), and the hosts were very accomodating with this. During our two night stay we had Storm Dave and a quiet second night - both nights we felt warm, cozy and contented. And our dog loved it too! Thank you for the stay. 10/10 would return.

My wife and I stayed at the lodge with our little dog while visiting Enniskillen in February 2026, and we had a fantastic experience. Aoife and Shaun were wonderful hosts, friendly from the start, very responsive and always happy to help. They recommended several great pet-friendly pubs and local sights, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable. The lodge itself was excellent and had everything we could possibly need. We especially loved the hot tub—the contrast between the cold February air and the steaming hot water was amazing. We even made use of the outdoor barbecue one evening. The lodge is huge, beautifully set up, and has a well equipped, functional kitchen along with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Inside, it’s spacious yet very cozy, especially with the electric stove. The projector was another highlight. It really feels like having your own private cinema. We had such a great stay and are already looking forward to coming back as soon as we can!

Just had an overnight stay which was very relaxing, welcoming, lovely hospitality, friendly and good company, followed by great breakfast. Furthermore during my stay I had a massage which I would highly recommend, hope to go back again on a future trip to Ireland.
