About Bankhead Farm Certificated Site

Bankhead Farm Certificated Site sits in Crail, on the Fife coast, with pitches that are flat and generously spaced. Showers are available, and there's a new kitchen and washing-up room. A bus stop is right outside the gate, and the Fife Coastal Path runs within easy reach, so walking the cliffside trails between Crail and Anstruther is straightforward from the site.

The bathroom facilities are well kept, and staff are known for being helpful with local advice. The location is peaceful, which suits anyone looking to base themselves near the coast without noise or fuss. Crail itself is a working fishing village with a harbour, cafés and a few shops; Anstruther, just along the coast, has more amenities including restaurants and the Scottish Fisheries Museum. The coastal path is the real draw here—a proper stretch of walking country with sea views, small coves and village stops along the way.

We had a lovely stay camping, it was very windy but the location was beautiful. Carol was extremely helpful and kind and gave us loads of local info for the best places. The chippy in Crail was by far the best I've had and the outdoor pool at Cellardyke was fantastic. We will definitely be back, a great place as a base to explore Fife!

We had such a lovely stay here and honestly couldn’t recommend it enough. The lady who runs the campsite and her husband are genuinely some of the kindest people we’ve met they made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The facilities were excellent, especially the toilets very clean and well maintained, with everything you could need. It made a big difference to our stay. The campsite itself is beautiful, peaceful, and really well looked after. You can tell a lot of care goes into it. One thing that really stood out was their kindness my partner was craving chocolate and there wasn’t a shop nearby, and they kindly brought her some. Such a small gesture but it meant a lot and really shows the kind of people they are. Overall, amazing place with amazing people. We’ll definitely be back!

We always enjoy our stay at Bankhead Farm. The campsite is well run and there’s a new kitchen and washing up room! Everyone both young and old are able to do as they please as the pitches are well spaced out. Thank you Carol for another relaxing weekend!
