Durham Lodge sits in Lundin Links on Fife's East Neuk coast, where views stretch across the Firth of Forth. The lodge is one of five newly built properties within Homelands, a charitable trust offering self-catering accommodation. A short walk takes you to the beach; the village itself has the essentials you need for a quiet break by the water.
The property sleeps six across three bedrooms: two twins on the ground floor (one with an electric profiling bed and ceiling tracking hoist), and upstairs a zip-and-link room that converts to a super king or splits into two singles. Two bathrooms serve the house—one a wet room on the ground floor with a hoist, the other upstairs with both bath and shower. Ground-floor living is open plan, with kitchen, dining and sitting areas flowing together, and doors leading out to the garden. The kitchen has everything needed to cook properly: oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher. A utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer means you can manage laundry during your stay.
The lodge was purpose-built with accessibility as its foundation, incorporating features throughout—grab rails, hoists, level access—though the grounds do have sloping banks in places. One dog is welcome. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. You have private parking for two cars and a bike store on site, with a landscaped garden and sitting-out area to use. No smoking inside.
