Cupar sits in farmland between the Tay valley and the coast, with working farms and open countryside defining the landscape around it. Moonzie Stable is a converted stone building on the edge of the town, on a working farm. The setting is genuinely rural—you may hear farm sounds from across the way—but Cupar itself is walkable, with local shops, cafés and a weekly market. The East Neuk fishing villages lie forty minutes south; St Andrews is under an hour away.
Inside, the property feels part farmhouse, part retreat. The ground floor holds a combined living and dining space with a wood-burner, kitchen with electric cooking, and a bathroom with bath and shower. Upstairs are three bedrooms: one double, two singles, and a third single. The sofa bed downstairs offers flexible sleeping if needed. One dog stays free. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, plus wi-fi. A garden and terrace face the front, with parking for two cars. No smoking indoors.
The property suits families or groups wanting to base themselves between the farmland and the coast, or those drawn to the quieter side of Fife. The mix of countryside peace and proximity to villages and towns means you can explore at whatever pace suits you.

Lovely little house, and lush surroundings. About a hours walk to nearest town, Cupar. Stairs were a little hard to manage as very steep and awkward, but apart from that very good stay.
