Roseville Annex is a single-storey annexe attached to the owner's house in Star, a small village in rural Fife. It has its own entrance and parking, and is geared towards couples or anyone wanting a quiet break. The whole property is yours alone for the duration of your stay, with a double bedroom, shower room, and an open-plan kitchen-dining-living space on one level. Everything is accessible without stairs.
The kitchen is equipped for self-catering—electric oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer—and opens into the dining and living areas. The bedroom has a 4ft 6in double bed. Bed linen, towels, electricity and Wi-Fi are all included. There is parking for two cars on site. The property is no-smoking.
Star itself is quiet, but within a short drive you'll find pubs and shops in Markinch. The Fife Coast is about 15 minutes away: a string of working fishing villages including Crail, Pittenweem and Anstruther line the shoreline, with restaurants and golf courses dotted along it. Inland, Falkland village and its palace are worth a visit, and the larger town of Glenrothes has a train station with connections to Edinburgh.
