I love this place if there wasnt this 1 thing I would have five stars but everything is good I personally go there to swim and the days iv been there it's been amazing I know 2 lifeguards one with the same name as me but the 1 thing I'm not happy about is the showers there too hot! It's so bad I step out after 3 seconds overall amazing pool very nice staff and a amazing cafe!

I'm absolutely furious with Michael Woods Sports and Leisure Centre. I've been a paying member for weeks and did my induction with this same guy who signed me up. Today he was waiting at the door and before I even got up the steps he told me he wasn't letting me in the gym for being "underage." I'm not underage! He knows that — he helped me get the membership. No ID check, no looking up my details, nothing. Just an instant public humiliation like I was some kid sneaking in. It's ridiculous and disrespectful after paying good money. Felt completely humiliated. Terrible service and zero common sense.

Went into Michael Woods on Friday 21st Feb in the evening 5.30pm for sauna, swim and steam room with my 16yr daughter, The changing rooms were filthy, litter all over the floor and dirty, overlooking this we went into the toilets, and the smells were horrendous toilets were all dirty and had a struggle finding one that was useable, Then with our code went into the health suite....which was over crowded with all men, coming straight from work to relax and unwind with is great for them! But not so much for us, surely there is a head count applied? I would have appreciated a heads up at the desk saying that you wont get into the sauna and maybe just get into the steam room but don't count on it.......waste of money. And cleanliness & hygiene in changing rooms, toilets and health suite are disgusting to non existing.

Excellent sporting facilities for both indoors and outdoors activities. Gym, swimming pool, football just to name a few. Lots of parking and can be use by all ages.
