I chose Woodfire to camp with my gal pals for my 50th birthday celebrations. We had such a great time, the site has great space, the showers were hot, the compost loos clean and we adored all the staff and loved the kitchen! So many cute features and so lovely having brekkie cooked! Dinner is also available but we went to a nearby pub ‘The Trevor’ in Glynde which was also fab!

We stayed at Woodfire campsite this weekend for the first time with a group of about 20 people. It was not an ideal weekend for camping with 55mph wind & rain with it but despite that we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back to the campsite. The team on site were really welcoming, the toilets, showers etc. were beautifully constructed and our kids disappeared into the little woods there hardly to emerge whatever the weather. Then the food cooked over the fire really is special. I enjoyed the Bavette & rosemary potatoes with Chimchurri on the first night and it was really special to enjoy such a good meal cooked by friendly people in a beautiful surrounds. Will definitely be back - we can only imagine with the right weather it will be properly dreamy!

Just returned from an idyllic weekend at Woodfire's Roundhill camping site. Amazing experience, simply amazing. If i could award 6 stars i would. Secluded, quiet and beautiful picture-postcard location. Waking up, surrounded by the hills and trees was a joy. Hot showers, firepits and the most amazing dinners provided by Mary and her team made us feel so welcome. The whole group felt so lucky and blessed. We also loved the proximity to Firle, Lewes and the short distance walk to The Ram Inn or The Barleymow for lunch. We also had a wee swim at Seaford beach. But the campsite experience is what made it a magical weekend, and why we'll be returning as soon as we can.

Great campsite! Only stayed for one night as a brief night away with my 13yr old son for a bit of downtime, but fantastic location, lovely views and brilliant facilities (hot showers and very well kept composting toilets), the food from the open live-fire kitchen is incredible! Considering we booked very last minute, the online team were super helpful and the on-site team were incredibly friendly and welcoming. It obviously draws a really lovely crowd too, so we'll be back soon for sure (and for longer!). Thanks for having us!
