Hersedd Barns

Flintshire's countryside around Mold offers quiet walking country and access to the market town itself, five miles away. Hersedd Barns sits within the owners' grounds as a restored agricultural building—originally cowsheds and hayloft—now a self-contained holiday cottage with its own parking and private garden.

The property sleeps eight across three bedrooms: two with double beds and one with a pair of single beds that zip together to form another double. There are two bathrooms; one ensuite serving the first double bedroom, the other serving the rest of the house with both bath and shower. Downstairs holds a large kitchen-dining space with an electric range, dishwasher and access to the rear garden, plus a second sitting room with a sofa bed, games and books. A utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer sits on the first floor. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included.

A lawned garden with patio, sitting-out area and BBQ facilities comes with the booking. The owners also allow use of their field for anyone bringing horses. The cottage does not permit smoking. It works well for large family groups or multiple couples looking for a rural base within reach of Mold's amenities.
