What visitors say
We stayed for five nights in this beautiful camp site with friendly and informative owners. Compost loos were spotless, tent pitches surrounded by wild flowers. We watched spotted fly catchers and hundreds of butterflies. Great walking nearby and some lovely pubs. Short drive to Prestatyn for a swim, including a tussle with a Black Backed Gull for my Mint choc chip ice cream! Thanks to Seb and Hannah. Definitely recommended

This site is unique, comfortable and beautifully run. The sweet, grassy tent sites are surrounded by wildflowers; the treetop tents look awesome and have great names, and the unique structures have been built from home-milled wood with amazing craftsmanship. The family-oriented owners are thoughtful and involved, and the farm-fresh eggs and convenient "store" on site are like icing on the cake. Communal areas are beautiful, sheltered and useful. You can buy firewood there or bring your own, and there's a lovely, luxurious cabin to rent complete with rope bridge and porches to enjoy. Things to know: there's spotty cell service, and a nearby road makes it less quiet than otherwise would be. Highly recommend for a screen-free family getaway.

Such a wonderful experience! We stayed at Tree Tops for 2 nights, myself, my partner and our child. We opted for the cabin (The Toad Hideout), as a treat and it exceeded our expectations! The cabin is very cosy, very well furnished and thought through. The attention to detail and the extra’s (such as complimentary eggs and honey) took us by surprise, along with how well provisioned the cabin was. All you really need to take is food and a change of clothes. The double bed is very comfy and making up the sofa bed was a simple task. We enjoyed breakfast on the upper balcony each morning, which connects to the cabin via a short rope bridge. There’s also a lower balcony for when the weather is bad. There’s plenty of communal facilities and places to relax and enjoy the surroundings, a bbq or a nice fire or just chill and read a book. The site and facilities are family friendly and I felt comfortable letting our child hang out in a safe environment, whilst also being able to explore and have fun. Seb, the owner and host, was very helpful and welcoming. Seb contacted us a few days beforehand to check what time we planned to arrive. When we arrived, Seb greeted us and gave us a tour of the site and the cabin. Seb explained how things work and also gave us a brief history of the site. We’re looking forward to our next visit to Tree Tops and Train Tracks and we’re excited to see what new additions Seb and his family have added to the site.

This is a beautiful campsite with each pitch either nestled among the trees or around the communal fire pits. Teaching a toddler how to use compost toilets was interesting! But he enjoyed it we loved listening to the birds and trying to work out what trees were which. We had a fabulous time and in the hot weather the campsite was super cool with a gentle breeze blowing through it. We loved it and can’t wait to go again.
