Ty Clyd is a ground-floor cottage sleeping two near Mold in Flintshire. The open-plan living space combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas, each with a smart TV for Freeview. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer, so you can cook proper meals rather than relying on takeaways. There's also a separate study if you need a desk, and a shower room with heated towel rail. The bedroom upstairs holds a double bed measuring 4ft 6in.
Essentials are covered: electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included, along with a welcome pack on arrival. The back garden has a patio with furniture and a barbecue. You get private parking for two cars on site, and dogs stay free—there's an outdoor tap for rinsing muddy paws after walks. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
Mold is surrounded by countryside ideal for walking and cycling, with the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty nearby. The market town itself has shops and history worth exploring. Check-in is after 15:00 and checkout before 10:00.

We stayed at Ty Clyd in the middle of May and had a truly wonderful time. The cottage was exceptional – spotlessly clean, peaceful, and set in beautiful surroundings. It was exactly the relaxing countryside retreat we were hoping for. Simon and Sally were fantastic hosts. They were so welcoming from the moment we arrived, and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Their warmth and attention to detail really helped make our stay special. Our dog, Patch, is an old boy these days, so we didn’t do a huge amount of walking, but the walks we did enjoy were lovely. Being surrounded by the countryside was wonderful and provided the perfect opportunity to slow down and unwind. The cottage had everything we needed and more, making it feel like a real home from home. We would absolutely recommend Ty Clyd to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway and would happily return ourselves in the future. Thank you, Simon and Sally, for such a lovely stay!

Our 2nd stay at the amazing cottage. Just as wonderful as we remembered. Sally & Simon are great hosts who are on hand if you need anything. The cottage has everything you would need. A lovely peaceful and relaxing break. Cannot wait to return. Would highly recommend.
