Hopewell Barn

Hopewell Barn works well for families or groups of friends after a base in the Wye Valley countryside. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms sleep five across two floors, with a double, single, and twin on offer. The ground floor has underfloor heating running through the living room and kitchen/dining space, where a woodburner takes the chill off quieter evenings. A utility room with washing machine, fully equipped kitchen, and immediate access to an enclosed garden with patio areas and a barbecue round out the practical side of things.

The setting is the real draw. A footpath runs alongside the property into an extensive network of walks, including sections of Offa's Dyke and the Wye Valley Walk. Rolling fields and open countryside surround the place; the nearest notable landmarks are Tintern Abbey (under a mile away) and the castles at Chepstow and Raglan. One dog is welcome, and there is plenty of garden for them to roam. Parking for three cars is on site, and electric car charging is available by prior arrangement with the owner. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels, and the initial load for the woodburner are all included. No smoking inside. Check-in is after 17:00 and checkout before 10:00.
