My partner and I stayed for two nights at the beginning of December in The Hop Cabin, and from the moment we arrived Ed couldn’t have been more helpful. The cabin was lovely and clean, with a cosy wood burner in the middle that kept everything nice and warm. There was also an electric radiator in the bedroom, which made it really comfortable at night. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the water pressure was excellent, we honestly couldn’t fault a thing. We were also lucky enough to watch their brewer, Tom, in action while he was brewing the next batch of ale, which was a great experience. We tried a few of the beers during our stay and can confidently say they were all fantastic. We even took a crate home for Christmas and were gutted to have missed the brewery event the night before. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks again, Ed!

My wife and I stopped for 5 nights in the Hop Cabin for our honeymoon. The location and atmosphere cannot be faulted for a relaxing getaway. Whilst rustic (as we expected when booking) the accommodation was clean, tidy and functioned perfectly for what we wanted. The hot tub, especially on clear starry nights, is the perfect way to end a day walking through the many forest areas of the Wye Valley. Ed, Julia and the others were brilliant for the entire stay and couldn't have been anymore helpful. The brewery tour, shop and adjacent wine shop are welcome bonuses. If you're after a quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle, you'd struggle to do better.

Unlike many places which are built for 'customers', it feels like they have built this for their home - as a result it feels inviting, warm, genuine and calm. From the moment we arrived we could tell this was a place where people care, and live authentically (cheesy we know! But true) Overall... Just like their beer! Unfiltered, uncompromising and unashamedly real!
