The Forest of Dean has 33 cycle trails threading through it, footpaths beginning at the front door, and enough attractions scattered across the landscape to fill a week. Symonds Yat, Puzzlewood, Clearwell Caves, the Dean Heritage Centre and the Dean Forest Railway are all within reach from Humbug House in Upper Soudley. The White Horse Inn is nearby for an evening out.
This recently renovated house sleeps five across three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master has an ensuite; bedrooms two and three are single rooms. Downstairs, a living and dining area opens onto an enclosed garden where you can use the barbecue and garden furniture. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with a dishwasher, electric oven and hob, and coffee machine. Heating comes from an air source heat pump with underfloor heating on the ground floor. Wifi is included, as are bed linen and towels. One small or medium dog stays free; the garden is fenced and there are doggy extras provided. Smoking is not permitted inside.
On-site parking is available for one car, with additional roadside spaces nearby. A bike store is provided for guests exploring the 33 trails.
