Wren Cottage

Built from stone and set at the end of a long gravel drive in Lydney, Wren Cottage has the feel of a rural retreat while remaining within reach of the town. Three bedrooms on the first floor sleep up to five: a king bed, a zip-and-link double (or two singles), and a single. Downstairs there's a living room with wood burner, separate dining room, full kitchen, and a bathroom. A utility room houses a washing machine and extra fridge space. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included.

The grounds matter here. A large enclosed paddock runs behind the cottage, giving children and dogs room to tire themselves out safely. There's a fenced pond on the property, so supervision is needed for young ones. Open land stretches in front. You get private parking for two cars and sitting areas in the garden and grounds. The pub at Hips Social is under a mile away. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available on request.

Smoking is not permitted. Wren Cottage is let to families, couples and groups only.
