We came late on a warm day and basically had the castle to ourselves. The guards patiently waited for us to complete our tour of the castle before we left and had a gentle stroll around the garden. It's cheaper to buy your ticket online before you arrive. This is not a huge castle but it is very accessible and you can wonder inside and get a good feel for what it may have been like over its history. There is an interactive display inside that's not bad and is a good attempt at using technology to enhance the visitor experience.

Leeds castle and its huge beautiful park all around is above and beyond any expectation. It's truly magnificent and entertaining. I'm not surprised that you can even book rooms and blocks facing the lake to spend more days here. There's so much to do and discover that 1 day is not enough. There's even a real labyrinth (which I thought I could easily solve...Nope...no way). Other than the real beautiful castle, there's a playground one for kids. I couldn't resist and I played there with my kids as well. We couldn't leave anymore. There's an amazing minigolf and a big area for birds of pray with lots of amazing birds where you can experience shows and get in contact with some of them. Obviously there are ducks all around the park and you can buy stuff to feed them. That was another massive fun for my kids (and me too!). Inside you also have a garden space, shops and food places and the restaurant with a beautiful view over the lake and castle. The Sunday roast here was delicious! And that's not the end. It's truly endless. I understand why they sell 1 year long tickets. You will definitely come back. Have a great fun!

We had an absolutely magical day at Leeds castle. The staff were so friendly and helpful, Lee was friendly, funny and kind. The men at the bird of prey exhibit were very good and seeing the birds fly around us was wonderful. Meeting Logan the owl was nice and the man who showed her to us was wonderful with her and very knowledgeable. There was a load more stuff to do that kids/families would enjoy and we were very impressed with how big it was.

I've been to Leeds castle on many occasions to see and discover the history of the castle, enjoying the space of the wonderful grounds and garden's alongside the wildlife that lives there or the special laid on events, put on all year round. To get those rare family moments in life that you can share and enjoy with your loved one's at such lovely place to visit, is really great and a special thing. The prices for the twelve months membership is quite good and there is offers to entry on other events throughout the whole year. The Restaurant food is good quality and caters for all people taste's, whether it's just a quick pick me up coffee latte to a full on lunch bite. Loved the ice cream stop....!! It's a bit of a must try on a hot day. All the toilet facilities are well looked after and located throughout the grounds with good access. Other things to do there are the Tudor mase, the beach, mini golf and then see the falconry display's, there's plenty for children to do, including the castle play area's. The castle staff are very polite, helpful, friendly and full of information/guidance. I've not had any bad experiences on any of my visits to Leeds castle and I would just like to say thank you for the wonderful time's I've had at Leeds castle.
