The Finches Caravan and Camping Site

this place is amazing.. stress levels down to zero .. so quiet so peaceful.. showers,washing facilities, toilets so clean I would highly recommend this site if you need to relax .. Chris who met me couldn't of been more helpful.. really good guy..

The facilities here are spotless really quiet lovely surroundings we enjoyed our stay and will be back again. Thankyou so much to Gavin for being so helpful you are a genuine great guy. My grandchildren loved the little climbing house thing too. Even the wildlife are friendly, my little grasshopper friend ha haa.

This was a return trip (we went there after the first Covid lockdown) and was really pleased with all aspects. We had a warm and thorough welcome from Kris (the site manager), who could not do enough for us during our stay. It is evident he’s taken on board all the comments from previous reviews and the site was clean and tidy (he was seen cleaning and mowing each area on the same day when the people had departed), we saw no rats at all (as mentioned in previous review). The ablutions were spotless and regularly cleaned and the gents lights were working. Kris is keen to improve everything and daily came over to make sure we were happy (and to offer us firewood). The children’s play area was clean and in really good order and our little one enjoyed playing there with the kids from the other campers. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay for a further night and will definitely be going back! We totally recommend this hidden gem of a site to anyone who is considering camping round the Maidstone area.

Arrived home after a lovely stay here for the bank holiday weekend. Contact a little tricky beforehand but a pleasant visit when there. Great kids climbing frame and gorgeous location for camping with EHU. We had a blissful time. A couple more hook up points could be helpful and pressure in the washing up taps temperamental. It was also tricky fitting rubbish in the bin as needed emptying. However the facilities were clean, with hot water and well kempt surroundings. The people running it are incredibly accommodating, we are grateful and will certainly come back.
