What visitors say
We held our daughters and her fiancés handfasting wedding ceremony and reception at Welsummer. We bright the kids here camping when they were little and it seemed fitting to hold the service here when the couple wanted a woodland, natural wedding venue. Welsummer is a beautiful, tranquil, intimate setting. We camped from the Thursday so we could set up the stretch tents and decorate the venue. Laura and Med were so very kind and helpful along the whole journey. Everyone complimented the venue and how special it was. We are very happy indeed.

We booked welsummer for our wedding in June. Quite possibly the most perfect venue. Med and Laura have been amazing, nothing was too much to ask for! Our guests loved the bell tents and the cabins, with plenty of space for extra tents. Truly a magical place for us.

We stayed with one of our children and our cat from 17-19 April, in the Hive (the cabin built around a tree). We had a truly wonderful time in beautiful grounds. It was Bluebell season and the woods were carpeted. It is a lovely natural environment. Our objective was to light a campfire and toast marshmallows - we did this and so much more. Highly recommended.

We had a mixed time, the site is beautiful and there are some lovely walks. Unfortunately the sinks were blocked and food waste left by another group in kitchen area was unpleasant. Lovely hosts, however the accommodation was extremely dusty and musty, we dropped a game piece under the sofa and my gosh the hair/dust underneath was very thick. We stayed only one night as it triggered my asthma and was very wheezy. The cabin was cute but felt a bit unclean. We wouldnt go back.
