What an amazing place!! We arrived at 10pm, the owner, Andrew came out to welcome us, so friendly and informative. We asked how much for our camper van, he said it's free. There's free hot water, teas, coffees, pastries. They provide so much for people with camper vans for free. Lovely walk for our 4 dogs, who were also made welcome. I can't believe some of the reviews here, they must be fibbing! Someone complained about the free teas and coffees for goodness sake!!!! The building of the hotel with 8 bedrooms is made of lovely stone and the grounds are well lit and huge! Right by the West Highland Way and close enough that you can visit the city in 20 minutes. We want to stay here for a few nights, and it's FREE!! We drove up from Southern Ireland and are driving down to Portugal, which we do every year and you don't often find great places like this!

Excellent campsite, great location for West Highland Way and John Muir Way. I was camping with my tent, great space tent pitches and grit areas within woods. Also bell tents facilities for motorhomes, campervans and caravans. Excellent wet-rooms with shower and toilets. Good food available on site. The owner and all staff were very welcoming and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Stayed at the campground with our camper van last weekend and loved it. Stunning views, friendly service, open 24/7 with tea and coffees. Couldn’t have chosen a better place. Will be back and highly recommend it.

Discovered this beauty of a hidden gem via the Brit stops app. There's a campsite for the walkers, Bell tents for a different kinda camping, electric and non electric spaces for motorhomes and Campervans. A cafe, free tea and coffee, free breakfast, very clean and well looked after facilities. I loved the log fire and cosy atmosphere in the evening. A real hidden gem. It also has a charity side to the place, which looks after van lifers. Honestly, it's a beautiful place with genuine people. I can't wait to go back!
