Capelrig Cottage

Capelrig Cottage is a single-storey property in Balfron, a quiet village on the edge of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. You enter through your own rear entrance into a layout that keeps everything on one level: a living and dining room with an open fire, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, a bedroom with a kingsize bed, and a bathroom with bath and shower. The essentials—heating, electricity, linen, towels and wifi—are all provided, along with initial fuel for the fire.

The cottage sits in private grounds along a rural lane, with an enclosed garden and patio where you can sit outside, and parking for one car on site. Balfron itself has shops, a health centre, and a golf course. The Campsie and Fintry Hills are visible from the property. Within easy reach are Stirling (30 minutes), Glasgow (an hour) and Edinburgh (90 minutes), while Loch Lomond's water sports and the National Park's walking trails are on the doorstep. No smoking inside the property.
