About Poston Mill Touring Park
Poston Mill sits in the Golden Valley near Peterchurch, roughly twelve miles southwest of Hereford towards the Welsh border, on the site of a former corn mill beside the River Dore. The park's setting is one of the quietest in Herefordshire, ringed by hills and farmland rather than roads, and it draws visitors as much for the surrounding walking country as for the site itself.
The park offers a mix of level touring pitches with electric hookups, tent camping and a small number of static caravans and glamping pods, along with an on-site restaurant and bar in the old mill buildings, a shop for essentials and modern toilet and shower facilities. Dogs are welcome, and the site stays open year-round with WiFi available throughout. Its position in the Golden Valley makes it a good base for exploring Herefordshire's black-and-white villages, the churches of the Golden Valley, and the walking routes along Offa's Dyke and into the Black Mountains just across the Welsh border. A short drive brings visitors back into Hereford for the cathedral and city sights, while Hay-on-Wye is easily reached in the other direction.

What visitors say
We stayed on the touring pitch- well maintained area, the facilities at Poston Mill were clean and well maintained. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. The dog walk and the golf area again all well maintained with plenty of dog bins. The pub on site is a bonus, but sadly doesn't open on a Monday.

Really lovely place to stay! We stayed in one of the static caravans which was just lovely - so well equipped and clean. Has everything you need. The grounds are great, the pitch and putt is fab too! There's a pub called the Mill right next door which is really handy. Overall would definitely recommend to everyone - wether you are in a touring caravan (pitches are great!) or one of their caravans. Definitely going back again soon.
