Walkers, anglers and anyone travelling with a dog will feel at home at the Tennant Arms Hotel, a traditional inn set at Kilnsey near Grassington in the Yorkshire Dales. It's the kind of place suited to a slower-paced break built around the outdoors, with the surrounding countryside offering walking routes, fishing and horse riding within easy reach, along with a golf course nearby for those who want it.
