The Chapel is a converted Grade II listed building with genuine period character, set alone in rural North Yorkshire within the Dales National Park. Originally a chapel, it now stands as a compact one-bedroom retreat adjoining the owners' home, positioned for walkers and climbers exploring the surrounding hills. Kilnsey Crag, known for challenging rock climbing, is essentially on the doorstep; the Dales Way passes close by, linking Grassington and Kettlewell with marked footpaths from the garden gate.
The single bedroom contains a four-poster kingsize bed. Downstairs, an open-plan ground floor combines the living area, a bedroom space, and a separate kitchen with dishwasher and combined microwave-oven, while the bathroom has a bath with shower. The property is yours alone—a private rental with its own entrance, parking for one car, and an enclosed garden with patio furniture. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. No smoking. One dog or cat stays free.
Grassington, about 4 miles away, has shops, cafés and pubs; the village hosts the Grassington Festival in summer and a Dickensian Festival in winter. The property draws water from a natural spring. Guests arrive after 4pm and depart by 10am.
