Luckily we had a sunny day for our visit to Hatters Farm Tulip Festival. We had a really warm and friendly welcome from the ticket-zappers, who gave us information to maximise our enjoyment and help find our way around. There were rows and rows of tulips in bloom with so many interesting varieties to marvel at. We also enjoyed a stroll by the lake and, as there was a wide variety of food and drink outlets, we enjoyed those as well. It’s a family & dog friendly event, hay bales for climbing on, some swings - lots of fun to be had. There was even a family celebrating a birthday event there amongst the tulips. Everything was well organised, litter pickers out and about, all the staff were pleasant and helpful. Having recently returned from a holiday in the Netherlands, where, let’s face it, tulips are THE thing, it was lovely to be able to be close to home, seeing beautiful flowers and choosing some wonderful cut blooms and unusual bulbs growing in pots, to take home safely on the day. Although we are local, it was our first visit to Hatters and we look forward to coming back.

Timed our visit to Hatters Tulip Farm just as tulips bloomed. Have many pictures opportunities set up. Dog friendly. Got there first thing to see the flowers and left before it got too busy. They have a pond/lake to walk around a d our doggie enjoyed that. Very colorful and fun. Bought some tulips and chocolate covered strawberries too.

We found it easy to book online. Clear directions and the Farm was easy to find. Helpful friendly staff. The tulips were beautiful although I think it’s best to visit early as leaving it too late the tulips won’t look at their best. Food and drinks were quite expensive so if you go for the whole day probably best to take some of your own refreshments. All in all though we really enjoyed the afternoon, weather was brilliant and it was a tick off the bucket list.

We had a lovely time at the tulip festival. The amount of different varieties and colours of tulips were amazing to see. We enjoyed a walk around the lake and stopped off for an iced coffee and doughnuts. The undercover seating area was a bonus as it was a very hot sunny day.
