California Halt

California Halt works well for couples and small families after a straightforward seaside break. The bungalow is single-storey throughout: a living and dining room with a 42-inch Smart TV and DVD player, a kitchen with electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, one bedroom with a kingsize bed, another with two singles, and a shower room with a walk-in shower. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are included. There is parking for one car on site and a patio with garden furniture; smoking is not permitted.

The property stands on a quiet road within easy reach of the sandy beach backed by dunes. Great Yarmouth itself is 6 miles away and has the pier, amusements, Sea Life Centre, shopping and an indoor leisure centre with a wave pool. Thrigby Wildlife Gardens, 6 miles off, appeals to families with its children's play area. The Norfolk Broads are accessible locally for boat trips and hire. Norwich, 24 miles away, offers museums including the castle, theatre and extensive shopping. The coastline stretches for 45 miles in either direction, with walking trails and nature reserves throughout the area.
