Head to Great Yarmouth's Caister Point Beach for a classic seaside day out where toilets and snacks are available, though picnics aren't permitted and wheelchair access is limited.

What visitors say
Lovely sandy beach! Sadly we visited in the Winter couldn't take full advantage but it is a definite for summer visits when we're back! Big carpark, which was free for our visit but summer season is chargeable. And there is direct access to the beach which was perfect for us as getting onto Winterton and Hemsby beach was a little too steep for my dad who has mobility issues. Doggy friendly too. Great spot, whatever the weather

What a gem! Came here for the dog and found a lovely calm beach, dunes and green space and the EPIC RNLI life boat!! (with lovely cafe).

Absolutely gorgeous sandy beach and dog friendly. Not too busy, parked on the street close by. Have been before when staying at the Haven nearby. Worth a visit especially if you want a nice beach to visit with dogs.
