Martham is a working village with a duck pond, green and proper local shops—a butchers, pubs, fish and chip shop—rather than a resort feel. The beach at Winterton-on-Sea is a short drive away, and the River Thurne is a 15-minute walk past the church through open fields, where you can hire boats, canoes or paddleboards. Cycle routes and country walks start from the doorstep, and the Broads themselves are on your patch for birdwatching and river exploration.
Park View is a single-storey bungalow built in 2022 with everything on one level. Three bedrooms (a double with ensuite shower, two singles, and a third single) and a family bathroom mean five of you can spread out. The open-plan living and kitchen area has a smart TV, electric cooking, dishwasher and fridge, and opens onto a lawned garden with seating and a barbecue. You get wifi, heating, bed linen and towels included; there's parking for three cars on site, and one well-behaved pet stays free. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.
No smoking in the property. Families, groups of friends, and people looking to explore both the Broads and the Norfolk coast will find this a practical base.
