What guests say
Came in yesterday afternoon and the food looked really good. Came back early evening and ate, was not disappointed. The chicken wings were spot on, crispy, fresh and the meat just fell off the bone. All other dishes were of a high wetherspoons standard. Fair play, not the usual bog standard, above and beyond. Also, left my cap behind, phoned this morning and they had it safe. Came to pick it up and stopped for another beer. Well done all staff.

Nice, busy place. Well located and de fibrulator Jacket potatoes lovely. Lots of ladies toilets with lovely chamber to left of ladies. Accessed by stairs or lift. Prices very reasonable. Busy when queuing so may have to wait but once ordered food comes pretty quickly

This hotel has enormous rooms that are well appointed , with soundproofing , blackout curtains that work probably too well and aircon , nicely decorated with a large desk if you need to work and it has plenty of sockets for all your gadgets , although it is a bit of a walk to the seafront you are right in the centre of town with masses of shops close by . The room service here was really good when we visited and the rooms were nicely clean 👌the bathroom was large as well with basic amenities , but everything you would need . I would definitely book again just for the room . The pub itself is not quite as good as my favourite Wetherspoons , I had some problems with ordering and had to prove to the manager that I put the order in after a thirty odd minute wait , luckily I always keep my order on the phone and take a picture of the order as well , then when I went to go up to my room the lift jammed , so instead of just walking up to my room and leaving other people to walk up the stairs , I decided to tell the staff , when I told the manager , she told me it was not broke , it was just my card , der I have to have some slight knowledge of lifts , anyway she looked at it in the end and lo and behold it did not work , they got it going eventually after some time , I know it was a Saturday and she was probably stressed but treating customers as problems rather than clients is not good .

I am very impressed with this hotel. The price was great and for the money we paid (£66) the standard of the room far exceeded my expectations. The fixtures and fittings are of a high quality, the temperature was nice, and it is decorated nicely. The staff were more than helpful and were also friendly too. It is right in the town centre, so is in a good location, with a couple of car parks nearby. The only down side is that it is right next to the bus station, so can be a bit noisy with early buses leaving in the morning. It wasn't too much of an issue for us. I would definitely recommend, and I'm sure we will be back again.
