Diadem Hotel

Super friendly & a cosy family run hotel. Easy to find and just a 2 minute walk from the seafront. Around 10 minutes walk from the main town centre which makes for a quiet stay. The hotel is opposite a small green which is pleasant and relaxing and adjacent to St George's park. The Bed was very comfortable and the room I stayed in was spacious and airy. This is a very clean and well run business. Great free WiFi. Super breakfast and catering for a vegan diet without any fuss. Room has everything you'd need for a short stay including TV, Hairdryer and a fridge plus seating in the room and wall mounted fan. The windows open to allow fresh air in. The bathroom was completely tiled absolutely clean and with a very generous sized walk in shower. Staff are all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I benefitted from free parking and to be honest if I'm back in Great Yarmouth I'm staying at the Diadem because I've no need to look elsewhere! Thank you to all the staff who made sure my stay was fabulous. Much appreciated and I'm sure I'll be back in a few months.

My wife and me stayed in the Diadem for one night, and we weren’t particularly fussed about what the accommodation offered, merely looking for something cheap and cheerful. I am very pleased to say this was an excellent choice. £66 per night with a full English/continental breakfast included. The room was nice with a great shower and tea/coffee on hand. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The team arranged 24 hour free parking so we could come and go at will, and did I mention £66 per night, I can’t believe how good value this is. Thanks to the team. We will definitely be back.

Stopped for 1 night cleaner than some posh hotels they couldn’t do enough for you most helpful people definitely would stay here again Worth 10 stars Breakfast was best ever had anywhere I stayed before Stay here you won’t be disappointed Even a smaller fridge and big fan

Lovely stay with my parents. I stayed at Shrewsbury Guest House in Great Yarmouth for a week with my elderly mum and dad, and we couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming and comfortable place. The host (a lovely lady) was incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful throughout our stay. She really made us feel at home, and her kindness towards my parents didn’t go unnoticed — it meant a lot to us. The rooms were very clean and cozy, with everything we needed. Each morning we were treated to a delicious full English breakfast with lovely coffee, which set us up perfectly for the day. The location is ideal — close to the seafront and town, but still peaceful. It was easy for us to get around, and we enjoyed walks along the beach and visiting local sights. It was a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and I’d happily recommend Shrewsbury Guest House to anyone looking for a warm, family-friendly place to stay in Great Yarmouth. We’ll definitely return if we’re in the area again!
