About Premier Inn Guildford Town Centre (Farnham Road)
This Premier Inn sits on Farnham Road, close enough to the High Street, castle and railway station to be walked comfortably, making it one of the more central budget options in Guildford. The building follows the chain's usual straightforward, functional design.
Bedrooms are consistent across the Premier Inn range, with the group's familiar bed specification, and an on-site restaurant serves breakfast and evening meals to residents. There is no spa or leisure facility, keeping the focus firmly on value and reliability rather than extras.
It suits budget-conscious visitors, families and anyone wanting a predictable, well-located base for exploring Guildford on foot without paying for facilities they won't use, with the town's restaurants and pubs only a short walk away for evening meals.
What guests say
Bedding and the room itself smelt of dust, like it hadn't been cleaned properly. Carpet was all sticky. Shower gel was almost finished. Beddibg smelt like it was in a dusty storage before they put it in our room. Atleast the ac worked and It's in a great location, the only two saving grace. We expected better from Premier inn.

Typical Premier Inn (that's not a bad thing), On a busy main road so if you miss the entrance, like me, it's quite a long drive to get back round. As always, rooms are of a good standard and the staff here where very helpful. This one has a Beefeater attached, so we had the all you can eat Premier Inn breakfast, which always sets me up for the day and is very good value.

We stayed for one night on our way home from holiday. The room was clean and comfortable and Lorna on reception was friendly and helpful. The breakfast at the Beefeater was very poor especially the fried and scrambled eggs. The manager was offhand and very rude especially to a guest who pointed out the eggs had run out. The new batch, when they arrived ,were equally hard!! I wouldn't book breakfast there again.

Beds & check-in were good. Bar & restaurant were poor. POSTIVES: The lady at check-in was very good. Beds in our 2 rooms were great. NEGATIVES: We were VERY disappointed to learn on arrival that our pre-booked breakfasts would be in The Beefeater which also doubles as the hotel's bar. We went there for a drink after checking in and the place was dirty. So we cancelled our breakfasts with the nice lady at reception. Also, the bathroom fan in one of our rooms was VERY noisy. It was fine in our other room.
