About Travelodge Guildford
Each of the 152 rooms at Travelodge Guildford comes with an en-suite bathroom and drinks-making facilities, giving guests a simple, no-fuss base for a night or two. Rooms are spread across five floors served by a lift, and accessible rooms are available for those who need them. Some guests have found the rooms can pick up noise from nearby corridors or the road, so light sleepers may want to bear that in mind.
Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar for breakfast or an evening drink, and the on-site café adds another option for a quick bite. Free WiFi runs throughout, and there's an electric vehicle charge point for those who need it. Parking is free on-site, though it works on a first-come, first-served basis and vehicles must be registered at reception. Pets are welcome, which suits guests travelling with animals.
The hotel sits within reach of Guildford town centre, the University of Surrey and Royal Surrey County Hospital, with the A3 close by for onward travel. A golf course, pubs, restaurants and other entertainment can be found nearby too. Staff are consistently described as friendly and accommodating, even if service at busier times can be a little slow.

What guests say
Too far out of the centre. Few eating places nearby. 3 star rating as we stopped on a 35°c day so the room was so hot at night but it had no aircon, just a fan. The rest of the stay was good, breakfast good, just a shame they don't put out the vegan sausages you have ask for them to be cooked.

Personally I think having the rooms for disabled people on top floor is a bit odd. In an emergency we cant use the elevator 🤷🏼♂️ The reception is on the 2nd floor with people coming and going as they please, I thought that was odd too. Location isnt terrible but not where I would have expected, the benefit is food delivery isnt ages. Feom travelling and staying at different hotels I would say this is one of the lowest. Again its all personal preference.

It’s okay. Best thing about it is price and availability of parking. No AC (in 30 degrees), no mini Fridge to cool drinks down, no option for cold water from taps in room. You will not come across many more basic hotel rooms, you get what you pay for

I have been to Travelodge before and just to say the breakfast is suprisingly good but on the other hand, the wifi is not free and shuts down every half an hour and the bedsheets and not very soft so i had to sleep on a bed which had almost hundreds of springs so i would not recommend it to people who is constantly on their phones or people who is constantly getting tired and sleepy and just one quick update that i think other customers would enjoy is once you select an item on the coffee machine please add like more selections like flavors for example because once i selected the item, all of my hot chocolate just spilt out without me knowing that i need a cup or just bring a notification that i need a cup but other then all of the bad reviews, the food was good
