Croesor Bach

Gwynedd

Mountain walking starts at your door here. Croesor Bach stands on the slopes of Cricht in the Upper Croesor Valley, positioned for immediate access to the upland terrain around it. Beddgelert, Porthmadog and the beaches are seven miles away; a shop and pub are two miles down the valley. Criccieth is eleven miles off. The cottage itself sits at the end of a quarter-mile track, private and detached from neighbours, with an enclosed garden and terrace looking out across the valley.

The property sleeps eight across four bedrooms—three with double beds, one with a double and single—plus one bathroom. Downstairs there is a living room with a wood-burning fire, a dining room, and a kitchen equipped to cook properly, with an oil range, dishwasher, and American fridge. Bed linen, Wi-Fi, and heating are included; logs for the fire come with the booking. A utility room has a washer-dryer. The cottage has its own water supply from a spring and includes parking on site, plus an electric vehicle charging point available by arrangement.

This is a traditional farmhouse retaining original character, suitable equally for a family gathering or a walking holiday. The stairs are steep and narrow in places, and the track approach means it is not suitable for those with mobility difficulties. No smoking is permitted in the cottage or grounds.
